One of my favorite aspects of documenting wedding stories is that no two are ever the same. This beautiful Elopement started off with Maryam & Shahram trying to plan a Wedding with all their Family and Friends scattered throughout the World, and they tried planning the logistics not once, but twice. Time passed, and after multiple attempts, realized it was near impossible to gather everyone together at the same time, so they did the next best thing; Eloped!
With just immediate Family present, these resident Canadians came to California and married at Roblar Winery in a perfectly intimate Persian Ceremony facing the Vineyard. At sunset, they all moved along to the cozy garden shed and dined on a beautiful meal prepared especially for them by the Winery’s Executive Chef. The intimate group of six cheered and danced, and even the full Moon made a special appearance to wish them well in their lives together as Husband & Wife. It may have been a small affair, but it had an abundance of meaning, beauty and charm.
