Located along the Central Coast of California, Sunstone Villa & Winery in Santa Ynez is the perfect backdrop for the wedding of your dreams. The peachy hues of French limestone, and lush grape vines in the vineyard offer a beautiful landscape as a setting for an al fresco experience. Melva & Ali chose to incorporate both their cultures into a blended affair, featuring Mariachis and Arabic Dancers. Their Ceremony took place at the Villa’s two giant Oak trees, with cascading Florals and Olive leaves in front of their closest friends and family, with a nod to both cultures.
Once the ceremony concluded, guests were ushered to the front lawn of the Villa, with Mariachi’s singing, as a nod to the Bride’s heritage, while Caterers served different culinary delights, from mini Tacos sitting atop limes with a single serving of Patron, to Mediterranean food and their speciality cocktails, the Melgarita, AC Mule, and Calismash.
During the Reception, they were entertained by special dances from the Groom’s heritage, and later enjoyed dinner & dancing under the stars, near the Villa’s vineyard. As a nightcap, they chose to continue with an intimate after-party in the Winery Barrel Room, for those who were up for an extended evening with the pair, while they noshed on late night burgers from the In & Out truck they had waiting for their guests.
